Sr. Renato Casagrande, Governador do Esp\u00edrito Santo, o Sr. Roger Clasquin, Diretor do Porto de Roterd\u00e3 Internacional, o Sr. Jos\u00e9 Maria Vieira de Novaes, CEO do Porto Central e muitos convidados.<\/p><p>O Sr. Casagrande disse em seu discurso que o Porto Central \u00e9 uma necessidade para o Esp\u00edrito Santo e para o Brasil e que o projeto tem o total apoio do governo do Esp\u00edrito Santo.<\/p><p>O Porto Central ser\u00e1 constru\u00eddo no extremo sul do Estado, na modalidade de complexo industrial portu\u00e1rio de \u00e1guas profundas destinado a movimenta\u00e7\u00e3o de petr\u00f3leo, g\u00e1s, graneis, s\u00f3lidos e l\u00edquidos, cont\u00eaineres e carga geral. O porto tamb\u00e9m servir\u00e1 como um centro de apoio ao setor offshore, mercado em grande crescimento na regi\u00e3o sudeste do Brasil.<\/p><p>A Autoridade Portu\u00e1ria de Roterd\u00e3 fornecer\u00e1 seu grande conhecimento e expertise no campo do desenvolvimento de engenharia e gest\u00e3o portu\u00e1ria. April 29, 2014, the Port of Rotterdam Authority and TPK Log\u00edstica S\/A signed a joint venture agreement in Vit\u00f3ria, Esp\u00edrito Santo State, Brazil, for the development of Porto Central, a major greenfield port on the Brazilian coast.<\/p><p>The Joint-Venture signing ceremony was attended by Mr. Renato Casagrande, Governor of Espirito Santo State, Mr. Roger Clasquin, Director at Port of Rotterdam International, Mr. Jos\u00e9 Maria Vieira de Novaes, CEO of Porto Central, and many invited guests. Mr. Casagrande said in his address, that Porto Central is a necessity for Esp\u00edrito Santo and for Brazil, and that the project has full support of the Esp\u00edrito Santo State.<\/p><p>The port will be built in the southernmost part of the State of Esp\u00edrito Santo in the industrial heartland of Brazil. It will be an industrial deep sea port for the handling of oil, gas, dry bulk, containers and general cargo. The port will also serve as a support center for the strongly growing offshore sector. The Port of Rotterdam Authority\u2019s main role will be providing its extensive expertise and knowledge in the field of port development, engineering and management. Construction is scheduled to begin by the beginning of 2015.<\/p><p>The Port of Rotterdam Authority has been operating in Brazil since 2010, when it was asked by the Brazilian government to advise on a strategic study into remodeling the Brazilian port sector. As part of their purpose to develop a global network, the Brazilian potentials and opportunities were analyzed. Consequently, It was decided to join TPK Log\u00edstica S\/A, through the joint venture signed on April 29, 2014, in the develop of a greenfield port complex in the Municipality of Presidente Kennedy,
