O Porto Central foi habilitado pela Receita Federal do Brasil através do Ato Declaratório Executivo para operar no Regime Especial de Incentivos para o Desenvolvimento da Infraestrutura (REIDI).
O REIDI é um incentivo fiscal instituido pela Lei nº 11.488/2007 e regulamentado pelo Decreto nº 6.144/2007 que suspende a incidência de PIS e COFINS sobre bens ou serviços destinados ao ativo imobilizado da empresa na implantação de obras de infraestrutura nos setores de transportes, portos, energia, saneamento básico e irrigação.
O benefício do REIDI permite a suspensão na incidência de certos impostos nas operações relativas à aquisição, importação e locação de máquinas, equipamentos, materiais de construção, e serviços, pelo prazo de cinco anos, e será aplicado nas obras de construção da infraestrutura portuária do Porto Central.
A suspensão converte-se em alíquota zero após a incorporação ou utilização dos respectivos bens e serviços adquiridos, importados ou locados ao amparo do REIDI na infraestrutura portuária do Porto Central.[:en]Porto Central was qualified by the Federal Revenue of Brazil through Executive Declaratory Act to operate under the Special Incentive Regime for Infrastructure Development (REIDI).
REIDI is a tax incentive instituted by Law nº 11.488/2007 and regulated by Decree nº 6.144/2007 that suspends the levy of PIS and COFINS on goods or services destined to the company’s fixed assets in the implementation of infrastructure works in the sectors of transport, ports, energy, basic sanitation and irrigation.
The benefit of REIDI allows the suspension of the incidence of certain taxes on operations related to the acquisition, import and rental of machinery, equipment, construction materials, and services, for a period of five years, and will be applied in the construction works of the port infrastructure of Porto Central.
The suspension becomes zero rate after the incorporation or use of the respective goods and services acquired, imported or leased under the terms of REIDI in the port infrastructure of Porto Central.[:]
