Women’s entrepreneurship was at the center of discussions last Saturday (11) during the Women in Action Panel, held in Marataízes, Espírito Santo, with the support of Porto Central. The event brought together around 40 women entrepreneurs from the region for an afternoon dedicated to exchanging experiences, learning, and strengthening networks.
With the theme “Women’s entrepreneurship: leadership, challenges, and growth”, the panel featured three businesswomen and business consultants, who shared their professional journeys, growth strategies, and reflections on the main challenges faced by women in the business environment.
The dynamic format of the event encouraged active audience participation, fostering open dialogue and connections among the entrepreneurs. The program also included a space for product exhibitions, expanding opportunities for visibility and business generation.
Participants highlighted the experience. According to entrepreneur Adriana Fontoura Corrêa, the event was “highly enriching, fostering financial autonomy and the exchange of experiences among women entrepreneurs”. Marli Santanna, an artisan and community leader, emphasized that “learning from women who have already developed strategies that led them to leadership shows us that, even in the face of multiple roles, women continue to be creators of the future.”
Porto Central’s participation reinforces the project’s commitment to the socio-economic development of the region, supporting initiatives that promote productive inclusion, income generation, and women’s empowerment.
