  • Porto Central Promotes Health Initiative in Partnership with the Municipal Health Department

Porto Central team members participated in a health promotion and prevention initiative carried out in partnership with the Presidente Kennedy Municipal Health Department. The initiative was part of the Environmental Education Program (PEA) and brought health services and guidance closer to workers.

During the activities, participants had access to blood pressure checks, blood glucose testing, and rapid tests for HIV, syphilis, and other sexually transmitted infections (STIs). They were also able to review their vaccination records and receive any vaccines recommended by healthcare professionals.

The initiative reinforced the importance of prevention, regular health monitoring, early diagnosis, and vaccination by facilitating access to these services directly in the workplace.

Health and Prevention through the PEA

The Environmental Education Program carries out information and awareness initiatives for the various groups connected to Porto Central, addressing topics that include health, prevention, quality of life, and people’s relationship with the local territory.

The partnership with the Presidente Kennedy Municipal Health Department strengthens dialogue between Porto Central and the municipality and helps bring healthcare services closer to workers through initiatives focused on prevention and care.
